Textile Reference Guide pt.1

I was assigned a burn lab to learn about the reactions of different types of fabrics when exposed to flame. With all of them, I made a guess as to what kind of fabric it was using a reference chart and several reactions to determine which kind each was.

I talked with my sister afterward. She asked me how plastic fabrics react in flame, and what would happen if two fibers were in a fabric. Then she asked me how leather would react. I answered her questions by refencing the chart, and an attached video. I didn’t know about the leather, but I am sure I can look up some videos on YouTube about it.
